Jaded Friends

Do you have any friends that hate pretty much everything?

I know I do. Nothing is more irritating than hearing my friends shoot down every single thing that I bring up in a conversation.Whether it’s books, T.V. shows, movies, or things to do, absolutely nothing will satisfy them no matter what. There’s no use arguing with them because they just have a pre-disposition to not listen to anything point that you possibly bring up. It’s like infused in their DNA. How do you live when you say “no” to everything in life?!?! Maybe they seek enjoyment by staring at their wall for hours at a time because they wouldn’t have to deal with “phony actors” or “overrated directors and books” or “cheesy dialogue”. Alright I will admit there are some things in life that suck: AIDS, Justin Beiber, barking dogs, Tyler Perry movies, Jeff Dunham. It doesn’t grant the necessity to stay in your house all day and live like a hermit. People need to explore, express themselves, and live life for god’s sake. How would society run if everyone was jaded? I would not like to imagine such a place. Below is a link to comedian Nick Swardson’s take on jaded movie friends.
