Fall From Grace

A dream turned Netflix-nightmare

It is pretty unanimous that the reaction of Netflix’s latest price hike has angered subscribers. Once being known as a family-friendly, squeaky clean imaged distributor of movies and television,Netflix has now turned toward a more avaricious route.

In effect this August, pricing for services has significantly increased. For online instant streaming and DVDs by mail, the cost went from $10 dollars a month up to $16. Invariably, this will drive subscribers away and put a huge dent into the company’s popularity and image. I personally had to cut off my instant streaming just so it would be affordable. I am severely disappointed in a company I had put my trust in. Click on the bottom link to learn more about Netflix’s spiraling PR.
