Football Fantasy or Travesty?

As the season drew near, fans all asked the same question: Will there be a 2011 football season?

Hallelujah! It has been officially confirmed that we will all be on our couches with our favorite jerseys on our backs screaming our lungs off for the defense to get themselves together and stop the run before time runs out. Football fans across the country can now take a collective sigh of relief as the four-month long drama show has finally been put to rest. The 2011 NFL lockout is over as Goodell, owners, and players all agreed on their terms and take action to prepare for the 2011-12 season. Reports claim that emerging from the dust unscathed are veteran players, owners and small market teams as their respective wages and salaries will rise from now on. Sufferers from the lockout are Goodell, coaches, and rookies as it it is reported that practice times have been shortened and rookie contracts are being lowered across the board. The heck with it all, I don’t care who gets what or not. I’ll just be enjoying another year of whomping my competition in my fantasy football league.
